Popsicle Stick Monsters

This is the time of year that my children and I tend to do the most of our crafting together. The weather is getting cooler and rainy, so staying inside is good. Plus, the holidays are coming and we love doing crafts that correspond with the holidays.

That’s why when I saw these super fun Popsicle Stick Monsters I just knew that the kids and I had to do them! They looked like a fun, easy and silly craft for us to create in preparation of Halloween!

Why is this a great Halloween Craft?

Let’s start this off with a little something about me:

We are all friends here, right? I want to make it abundantly clear that I am not an artist. I probably have the least amount of creative abilities as anyone else you have ever met (not even kidding). I also have ADHD, so I get bored very quickly if I am uninterested in a topic, or if I am confused on what to do within a project. That’s why I like to make sure any crafts that I share with you are easy to do and, more importantly, have easy to follow instructions.

I also love to spend time with my children and my oldest daughter especially is very artistic and loves to create, so regardless of my inability to be creative, I like to be sure to spend arts and crafts time with them. Projects like these Popsicle Stick Monsters are the perfect way for us to do that!

Who is this Halloween Craft good for?

This is a fun Halloween craft project for kids because they will have fun creating them and then you can proudly display them throughout the house as Halloween decor pieces. You can also share with grandparents and aunts and uncles too.

These Popsicle Stick Monsters are also a really great Halloween craft for pre-school, daycare, or even for a playdate!

Once dry, paint the sticks, making sure all the edges and corners are evenly covered. Allow to dry.

Attaach googly eyes.

Use a black pen to trace the outline, draw some eyebrows over the eyes and add any other features you want on your monster’s face.
