I don’t know about you, but I am really wanting to step up my gift-giving game this year. I have mentioned this before, but the older I get, the more I love giving and getting hand made gifts. They are so much better than store bought. When it comes to DIY gifts, I really like food gifts and beauty gifts. Today we are going to talk about DIY beauty gifts.
Bath and beauty products are always high on the list of gifts to give on Christmas, and let’s face it, you can find these gifts anywhere. I have even seen beauty gift packs at the grocery store, but that’s not how I am doing things this year. This year I have put together the ultimate DIY beauty gift guide and my daughter and I are going to spend some time together making gifts for the other lovely ladies in our family and friend circle. My daughter will be making these for the girls in her friend group as well.
The Ultimate DIY Beauty Gift Guide
I love these Funfetti Bath Bomb Cubes. They are gorgeous and will look great in a little mason jar for mason jar gifts. Plus, these are gluten free and for a family that needs to follow a gluten free protocol, this is very important to look out for.
Oh my goodness. I love body scrub and I really love coffee. I have not yet tried a coffee scrub, but I hear they are amazing. Catch me making extra of this scrub to gift to myself. I can’t wait to take my morning shower with this scrub to help wake me up a bit. Oh wait, we were talking about gifts here…
I love the look of this one, plus, she even offers the free printable gift tags! This is definitely one that we will make for my daughter’s friends.
This one is going to be made and given to my friends who are busy working on their feet all day. If you happen to be looking for a DIY gifts for nurses, teachers, factory workers or anyone else that is on their feet a lot throughout the day, this is a great one! It comes with printable tags too!
Another wonderful sugar scrub with a fruity twist. I like this one for a Christmas gift because of how popular cranberries are during the holidays, it fits right in!
I love these adorable Gingerbread Bath Bombs! They are super cute and they are great if you like to keep your DIY beauty goodies Christmas themed.
I received handmade lip balm from a friend once and it was wonderful! Great for including in gift baskets or for stocking stuffers
I could literally make these for every adult I know and they would come in handy. I don’t know about you, but I like the idea of taking a nice stress, relieving bath.
Oh my goodness I am excited to make this and present in cute little jars for my sister in law this year. She always loves beauty stuff and I haven’t yet made lip scrub for her.
Another awesome DIY recipe that uses coffee. I love coffee and several of my family members are coffee lovers like me, so this will be a hit! I think I might present this soap with the coffee scrub I mentioned earlier.
Everyone loves sugar scrubs and I have yet to meet a person that doesn’t love the smell of brown sugar, so this Brown Sugar Body Scrub will definitely be a hit.
Lemon is such an invigorating scent that it is great scent for a sugar scrub!
This Coconut Salt Scrub might just be the easiest DIY Beauty gift on the list. I use coconut oil in my personal beauty regimine all the time, so this is one of my favorites on the list.
DIY Foaming Lavendar Sugar Scrub
I love the look of this DIY Foaming Lavendar Sugar Scrub, don’t you? This is a little different take on the typical sugar scrub recipe, so this will be a hit!
Bath bombs are a huge hit during the holidays and strangely (in my opinion), very expensive to buy in store. Add to this that you typically have no idea what is in the bath bombs, a homemade one like this is perfect for a DIY gift.
